Here are a couple of links to sites which are not all directly related to astrology and horoscopes. However we feel that these links are of great value for everybody and that's why we've listed them here on this page.
0800-Horoscope
Do you like to read your horoscopes on the Internet for free? Check out the site called 0800-Horoscope.com. Besides offering weekly horoscopes and personal daily transits it contains also other interesting links to love and astrology sites. There is also a special version for WebTV users... Check it out!
AFS - American Field Service
AFS is an non-profit organisations for intercultural exchanges. Many exchange students refer to AFS as "Another Fat Student" because exchange students tend to put on some weight in their host country... Others refer to it as "Alcohol, Fun, Sightseeing". In 1993, I went to Australia for 6 months as an AFS exchange student. I had the time of my life... I think everybody should give student exchanges a try. It's a great way to meet other people and cultures. AFS also offers scholarships to students who otherwise can't afford an exchange program. Great, isn't it?
Childprotection
Child protection on the Internet. This is a very useful site for parents and children alike. It has information about how to protect children on the Internet and in the real world. You might like to know that my mother runs this website...
Interflora E-Flowers
Did you forget about buying a Valentine's gift? Does your heartthrob live at the other side of the world? Send them an electronic flower through Interflora's E-Flower service. It's free and fun.
IQ Test
From time to time I take this test. It's very stimulating for my brain. I've been told that they'll add even more questions to their site. They've also got a list of other sites with personality and IQ tests. Check it out, it's fun.
My Postcards
One of the best postcard sites that I've found on the web is "My Postcards". During this season, postcards are sent to let family and friends know that you think of them and that you wish them all the best for the next year.
SpeedyCam
SpeedyCam broadcasts time-lapse movies of local roads using webcams. The car pictures pages show photos of sports cars. Other interesting sites about travelling, autos, music, humor and advice are also listed.
Internet Press
Like to read your newspaper online? Check out this fantastic site. It has several thousand (23,000 to be exact) links to newspapers, radio and TV stations, web cams and weather sites. There's also fresh daily news.
Santa Claus on the Internet
Each year, I find myself visiting this site. It's been online since 1994. There are christmas postcards, recipes, carols, games, jokes and a lot more.
Savage Garden
Official Fan Club: http://www.savagegardenfan.com
Savage Garden is currently my favourite band. I first listened to their songs last year when I visited my host family and friends in Australia. For my birthday, they gave me the Savage Garden album. It's probably the most played CD at my home. If you like great music, then I suggest that check out this band.
South Park
Do you know the cartoon show called South Park? It's way cool! I've only seen it a couple of times but I love it. I just hope that we'll get it very soon on a local TV station as well (apparently it starts here in Belgium in March). "Chef Aid - The South Park Album" is way cool as well (especially the song "Chocolate Salty Balls"). I bought it through the LoveTest CD store. You can buy it there as well!
New Year in Times-Square
Times Square in New York City is probably one of the most exciting places to celebrate New Year's Eve. Check out the web site for more information about the New Year's Eve party and there's even a web cam with a live video feed.
